The Great East Gate, the city wall trail and chicken-soup alley.
Dongdaemun station (Lines 1 and 4) is named after Heunginjimun, the Great East Gate of the old city wall. From here you can follow the wall uphill along the Naksan trail.
It is one stop north of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park (for DDP and the fashion malls), and close to Gwangjang Market.
